I've read various indications that you should be able to set the charge rate with the factory Ford "level 2" charger.
However, I cannot find any where to set charge rate (amps) within the van or within the app itself.

The use case is this:
We have several 14-50R outlets, but I have a few of them wired on 30A circuits, so we need to turn charge rate down....

Figured it out, the default charger that comes with the e-transit is setup for a 40A 240V circuit or a standard 15A 120V circuit. Charge rate cannot be changed within the Ford charger.

technically you can adjust the charge rate, you can pick the 120v rate or the 240v rate ;) i would not be surprised if some marketing yahoo advertised that it has an "adjustable charge rate"

I have a 3rd party charger that has shown to go as high as ~1800-1900 watts when I tested it on a generator. At home it would be about ~1600ish. My old mini/BMW charger OEM charger maxed out at 12 amp and I'm guessing you will see similar with the Ford one. I've actually never used or tested it. If the thing has a UL label I can guarantee it wont go over 15 amps on 120v.
