Yeah I think there's a lot of people in the same boat as you. Hopefully it's something Ford is working on because it'll make the E-Transit compelling for more people.

What would you use your E-Transit/electric van for?

again why is this a separate forum?

FYI [folks without e-transits], i was unable to find the info online, so i stopped by a local ford dealer ship to find out [and to check out the beast first hand]. the 120vac part of the EVSE lists 12 amps on the cable. not surprised by this but i was hoping for more. looks like i might need to pick up a 20 amp 120vac EVSE down the road unless my plans change [again]

In the United States, commercial vans travel an average of 74 miles per day. In the low-roof cargo van configuration, the E-Transit has a usable battery capacity of 68 kilowatt-hours and a target range of 126 miles8. Additionally, the engine may exhibit misfiring, stalling, or fuel odor. Another thing that can get clogged and cause the Ford Transit to lose power is the exhaust system. The exhaust may accumulate gravel, leaves, and other materials over time, affecting its functionality.
